“Willing Suspension of Disbelieve” is a concept that has come from literature several hundred years ago, it explains that any audience suspends their disbelieve – (that what they are about to see is fictional) willingly, but anything that may remind the audience that what they are seeing is not reality may lower or remove their willingness to suspend, at some point it might break, and that’s when audiences may change the channel, exit the theater or just stop playing a game.
